Grid Trading Strategies

Pick the mode that matches your risk and market behavior. Configure per-token modules in Live Trade.

Standard

How it executes: Fixed-percentage spacing inside a static grid range. Opens entries as price drops across levels and closes each filled level at take-profit.

Use when: Market is range-bound with repeat pullbacks and rebounds.

Risk profile: Moderate exposure growth; can hold multiple underwater positions in prolonged downtrends.

Martingale

How it executes: Same trigger logic as Standard, but each deeper level increases order size by multiplier.

Use when: You expect sharp mean-reversion after deeper sell-offs.

Risk profile: High drawdown and capital concentration at lower levels.

Geometric

How it executes: Both spacing and position size scale geometrically by level, widening and sizing up as price moves farther from anchor.

Use when: Volatility expands with depth and you want fewer but larger lower entries.

Risk profile: Medium-high; lower fills can become oversized quickly if trend continues down.

Infinite

How it executes: Continuously re-centers the active grid around current market so levels stay relevant over long moves.

Use when: Trending environments where static grids would drift out of range.

Risk profile: Adaptive but active; frequent recentering can increase trade count and fee spend.

Classic Spot Geometric

How it executes: Spot-only fixed-anchor grid with geometric spacing and no automatic recentering.

Use when: You want deterministic ladder structure and controlled static range behavior.

Risk profile: Range-exit risk; strategy becomes inactive if market moves too far from anchor.

Classic Spot Arithmetic

How it executes: Uses fixed absolute price increments between levels for consistent step distance.

Use when: You need exact, predictable level spacing regardless of percentage drift.

Risk profile: Moderate; less adaptive in fast volatility regime changes.

Moving Grid

How it executes: Trailing/recentering grid behavior that follows market structure shifts.

Use when: Direction changes often and static levels stale quickly.

Risk profile: Medium; adaptive logic can reduce stale levels but may churn in noisy markets.

Rebalancing

How it executes: Targets a token value allocation and rebalances by buying underweight and trimming overweight exposure.

Use when: Portfolio-control objective is more important than pure directional conviction.

Risk profile: Lower directional bias; can underperform in strong one-way trends.

DCA + Grid TP

How it executes: Accumulates on scheduled DCA intervals, then applies staggered grid take-profit exits.

Use when: You want steady accumulation plus structured profit extraction.

Risk profile: Medium; mitigates timing risk but can carry inventory during persistent downtrends.
